Summertime Accessories

Summer is officially here, my friends! As the U.S. starts to cautiously open up, there are a few few accessories that we just can't go without this summer. Here are my top picks:

1: Sunglasses!

I absolutely love sunglasses and try to collect a variety of styles. My favorite pairs so far this summer are from the Australian brand, Quay (pronounced "key"). These fashion forward specs are over-the-top fun and right on trend!

I love the Jezabell Twist (pictured left) because of the unique twist of the frame but especially because of the glitter in the lenses. This pair of sunnies is sure to brighten anybody's day!

The Come Thru might just be my favorite sunnies EVER! They are bright, reflective, and unique. They come in three shades, purple (pictured below), black, and pink.

Quay often has amazing sales, I picked theses pairs up on a buy one get one deal. The pink ones have been sold out but I plan to pick them up as soon as they are back in stock!

2: Luxe hair accessories

As someone who is very unskilled when it comes to styling my hair, I especially appreciate a cute hair accessory that is easy to wear. My favorites so far this summer are bold scrunchies!

This Satin Sand Lepord-print Scrunchie with a Bow from J. Crew (pictured left) is a quick way to spice up any outfit. You can wear it with jeans and a t-shirt or add a little flair to your LBD.

The Tabitha Floral Scrunchie from Anthropologie is so bright and pretty! I want to wear this basically any time I have my hair in a pony-tail or a messy bun.

3: Face Masks

The newest accessory of the season is, unfortunately, a face mask. You can't leave the house without one. Although they are not the most amazing things to wear, they are a very important part of our wardrobe when we leave the house; so why not have a little fun with it. I found a set of three Organic Cotton Ear Loop Reusable Face Masks by Sanctuary on Anthropologie. Each one comes with a replaceable filter for added protection and they are so much easier to breathe in than the one-use medical masks. I try to coordinate the masks with my outfits and accessories as best I can. These masks make it a little easier to do. I wash them after every use in a clean sink with detergent and warm water. To replace the filter, you can purchase filters online or use coffee filters instead.

I hope your summer is off to a good start! Let me know what your go-to accessories are this season!
